The 2026 Amgen Irish Open concluded yesterday, 13 September 2026, with home crowd favourite Shane Lowry securing a historic, record-breaking victory. Lowry shot a final round 7-under-par 63 to finish at 23 under par total, claiming an astonishing 11-stroke margin of victory over the rest of the field.
The tournament was hosted at the Trump International Golf Links & Hotel in Doonbeg, Ireland. This marks Lowry's second Irish Open title, coming 17 years after his legendary 2009 victory as a 22-year-old amateur.
